Where To Find Us

Our camp is located approximately 360 kms west of the Mongolian capital, Ulan Bator, in the Orkhon Valley National Park.

Surrounded by Mongolia’s natural wonders as well as several historical sites including Karakorum, the first capital of the Mongol empire and the memorial site of the Turkish Khanate, this is the perfect homebase from which to embark on both physical and historical adventures.

Located 360km west of Ulaanbaatar/25km west of Karakoram

How To Get There
The drive to our camp in Mongke Tengri from Ulaanbaatar typically takes six hours, though this may vary. We take a break for lunch about three hours outside of Ulaanbaatar and the final half hour of the journey is off-road, along the ridges and valley to camp.

Necessary for off road driving, and extremely comfortable, we use 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers, or equivalent, for our transfers. Each vehicle carries a maximum of four passengers with luggage and is equipped with air conditioning. Large groups will be split between two, or more, vehicles and child seats can be provided upon request – but please tell us in advance of your arrival.

TRANSFER CHARGE: US$350 each way per vehicle

Visa
Visa regulations for Mongolia vary based on the duration of your visit and your country of origin.
