Day 1
Welcome to The Toren. With its chic location and romantic decor, we look forward to making your stay with us one-of-a-kind. Check-in, then take a seat in our charming bar while you fuel up on some coffee. First, it’s time for a romantic walk along one of the city’s top attractions – canals.
Take a leisurely walk along the charming waterways and bridges towards the Singel, where you’ll discover an array of restaurants to cater to all palates, serving everything from traditional Dutch fare to an extensive range of global cuisine. After lunch, take a short walk to Amsterdam’s Central Station and hop aboard the free ferry to the north part of town. Climb the A’DAM observation tower for a bird’s eye view of the city’s sprawling and impressive canal network. Next, a visit to the This is Holland Experience, an incredible 5D ride in Amsterdam’s North, showcasing the highlights of the Netherlands’ stunning aerial footage and special effects. Before dinner, treat yourself to one of our signature Gin & Tonic cocktails in our lounge bar. After your aperitif, it’s time for dinner at any superb fine-dining restaurants, all a short walk from the hotel.
With your evening at a close, walk off dinner with a stroll back to the hotel. Enjoy a classic Dutch liqueur in our intimate lounge bar – the perfect nightcap before you settle your head for a dreamy night’s sleep.
Day 2
Good mornings begin with a good breakfast. Start the day with a freshly cooked breakfast in our intimate lounge bar from our menu. Be sure to get your eggs made to order from our chef!
This morning, we’ve booked you a private romantic boat tour of Amsterdam’s canals. Get loved up as you see the streets from another point of view on this leisurely cruise through the city. After taking in the sights from the water, the captain will drop you near the Vondelpark for a lovely lunch in the heart of the renowned park. In the afternoon, head on over to the Rijksmuseum, one of the world’s most famous museums with masterpiece collections like The Milkmaid by Vermeer, Self-portrait by Van Gogh, The Merry Family by Jan Steen and Rembrandt’s Night Watch.
As night falls, head to Restaurant Max. Serving up adventurous Indonesian food in a cosmopolitan setting, enjoy a delicious meal in the beautiful canal area. After dinner, head to the charming Jordaan neighbourhood for an authentic local experience. This area is dotted with numerous delightful bars, including the oldest one in the neighbourhood – Café Chris. Legend has it that the bar served as the payment spot for the workers who built the Wester Church, constructed between 1620 and 1638.
Day 3
On your final day, make sure to explore De 9 Straatjes. These charming and eccentric streets are brimming with vintage and designer shopping opportunities. Located between Raadhuisstraat and Leidsegracht, these nine streets interconnect the four primary canals of Amsterdam’s historic city centre, providing a comprehensive perspective on its architectural styles.
Once you’ve exhausted yourself with retail therapy and packed every available space in your suitcase, our luxurious limo service will be waiting to transport you to Schiphol Airport in style.
